The service is outstanding. Restaurant is nice and cozy. Food is good, but more than anything the great attitude and manner of owners takes you there time after time.
I have now been here several times and they never disappoint. Food is fantastic and the service is pleasant and friendly. You can't have a bad experience at Cafe Venezia!
We've been exploring Italian restaurants in our area and realized we had not tried this one! It's BYOB with easy parking out front located in Martinsville across the street from Hills of Herat. The service here was so friendly and warm and we liked all of our dishes (calamari, veal and pasta bolognese). Thr calamari was good with the balsamic glaze but a little soggy. The star was for sure the tortellini bolognese and the portions were very generous. I wish the ambiance was a little more cozy as it felt a bit too grey to me but overall we enjoyed our dinner here!
Leo and Eddie own this family run gem in Martinsville. They clearly take pride in their food and are confident about what they offer . Their nephew works here too and was very patient and communicative. Food is top notch , Service exemplary and Ambiance is airy spacious and welcoming. How does everything taste, look and make you feel good at this place , is the question worth exploring! The owners are Albanian so their food hovers around Italian but with some unique ingredients and spices giving it a new identity. The shrimp appetizer Gamberoni Fantasia was unique cocooned in the flavorful sauce that was finger licking good especially to mop up with their warm bread . Burrata was fresh made in-house served with ripe tomatoes and good quality olive oil . The Branzino alla Amalfitana- will positively make you humm ooo la la. The Fusilli Mama Mia was a mellow pasta with a flavor punch coming form the feta cheese which is their Albanian twist . Pistacchio mousse with gelato marked a soft end to a solid meal . This place is a winner in all fronts . Try it to believe it !
We were there for the first time last night & I must say it was a wonderful time. We were greeted warmly by the staff & seated promptly. The atmosphere was warm & cozy not to mention the menu! There was a great choice of everything from appetizers to dessert. Our meal was delicious & presented beautifully. We will definitely return on a regular basis. Jo Anne & Rich
Cafe Venezia is one of our family's favorite Italian restaurants. All the dishes here are really fresh, flavorful, and good! My current favorite is the stuffed salmon. The interior is classy and looks new and clean. There's free parking in a big private lot right next to the building. I like that it's BYOB. We enjoy talking with the personable owner and waitstaff. We've brought out-of-town guests here several times and everyone has enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend Cafe Venezia!
The place is spotless and feels new though a little cold on the decor. Superb service greets you through the door and continues through the meal. The menu is big enough for anyone to find something on it they like, and the portion sizes are big enough where you might be taking some home with you. The Calamari Venezia - Fried Calamari, Homemade Balsamic Reduction, Hot Cherry Peppers, Sweet Sausage, could have been a notch up with the cherry peppers though this was still a pleasant rendering of my favorite style of calamari. I had the GNOCCHI QUATTRO FORMAGI - Four cheese gnocchi, touch of pesto, for my main course, and it was indeed very cheesy! I really enjoyed it! The BYOB is nice. Sometimes I would actually rather bring something to the table than order from a menu.
Food is very important when rating a restaurant however so is your experience. From the moment we walked in we felt like family at Café Venezia. The restaurant wasn't too loud very clean and the staff was so friendly. We came with our nine-month-old and they were happy to accommodate a baby being there which we really appreciated. The food is very authentic Italian nice size portions and came out in a timely manner. The Venezia salad was fresh and they split it for us no problem. I ordered the zuppa and it was really good and they were happy to accommodate me not wanting pasta with my dish. My husband's entrée was also very good. What I really liked is you could choose to eat on the healthier side or sometimes at Italian restaurants you're locked in to overindulging. We highly recommend Café Venezia for their food and experience and will be back!
